Finalists announced for 2026 PitchIt! Minto contest

The nine finalists for 2026's PitchIt! Minto contest have been announced.

The Town of Minto and the LaunchIt Business Exploration Centre unveiled the finalists in a media release on June 16.

Now in its 14th year, the competition "continues to support entrepreneurship and small business growth across the community," according to the media release from the Town of Minto.

The nine businesses will now pitch their ideas for a share of over $20,000 in cash and prizes donated by various local businesses and business support organizations.

Each finalist has participated in the PitchIt! program by developing a Business Model Canvas, receiving mentorship, strengthening financial planning, and refining their pitch presentation. The competition is designed to equip entrepreneurs with the tools and confidence needed to grow or launch their ventures successfully.

The finalists will make their last pitches for the grand prize to a panel of judges soon. The winner will be announced at an announcement party on July 7.

"The quality and diversity of this year’s finalists is outstanding," said Belinda Wick-Graham, Economic and Community Development Officer for the Town of Minto.
