While a cashier was scanning items, the man reportedly took out a firearm and demanded that they put the items into a brown paper bag.
The alleged incident happened on June 29 between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Arlington Boulevard.
The sign change was coordinated through the Saugeen First Nation Beach Advisory Committee.
