Saugeen Shores police have arrested a man wanted in connection with seven separate investigations involving six different victims.
Police initially announced on social media that they were searching for a 33-year-old man. A day later officers went to an apartment building in the area of Waterloo and Market streets where they suspect was found in one of the units. The man allegedly tried to escape through a bedroom window which led to a brief foot chase that ended with an arrest.
A 33-year-old man is charged with eight offences including theft under $5,000, theft of credit card, unauthorized use of a credit card, possession of property obtained by crime, mischief under $5,000, breaking and entering, and obstructing a peace officer.
The man is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
Police have released no other information about the seven investigations that led to the man's arrest.
