Water samples showed high levels of E. coli bacteria at Goderich Main, Blacks Point, and Port Blake beaches.
Unsafe for swimming notices have been posted, as those that go in the water could be exposed to bacteria that may cause diarrhea or infections.
New samples will be taken on Friday, with results posted on Saturday.
