The Bruce County Heritage Association is gearing up to host its 33rd annual Heritage Farm Show, bringing history to life this weekend just south of Paisley.
It runs from Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16 at the Bruce County Heritage Farm grounds.
Carol Kinzie, Vice-president of the Bruce County Heritage Association, said the event offers visitors of all ages a chance to step back in time and celebrate the region's rich agricultural roots.
"This year, our feature is Allis-Chalmers equipment," explained Kinzie. "We will be kicking off the weekend with a live auction, followed by truck and tractor pulls and on Saturday and Sunday, the Antique Car Show."
Friday and Saturday evenings feature live entertainment, horse demonstrations, and a nighttime spark show.
"We also have working displays, including the 7.25-inch scale train, which adults and children can ride," she added. "Throughout the weekend, enjoy children's activities, lifestyle programs, live entertainment and a large craft building and outdoor flea market.
Gates open at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with admission set at $10 for adults and free for children ages 12 and under.
