The Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health (CERH) is calling on more communities to take its Aging in Place survey.
This survey is for those aged 55 and older to learn more about the strengths, needs, and barriers to healthy aging in our communities.
Many responses have already come in across the area, but now Gateway wants to hear more from residents located in North Huron, Morris-Turnberry, and Howick. The survey asks a number of different things in terms of local support for seniors that allow them to get older more comfortably at home. Questions like what works well? What could be better? What support would help you stay in your home and community as you get older?
Feedback will "help Gateway CERH better understand what matters most to local residents and guide future programs and resources that encourage healthy, independent living for as long as possible," the Gateway Centre shared in a statement.
