One person from Arthur has been arrested following a break-and-enter and assault incident in Arthur.
On January 26 at 4:15 a.m., Wellington County OPP officers were called regarding an alleged altercation at a home in Arthur.
Police arrived and conducted an investigation. Following that, a 38-year-old from Arthur was arrested and charged with break, enter a dwelling or house with intent to commit indictable offence, as well as assault.
The victim in the incident was not injured, and the accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
