Grow On Windsor campaign sets $375K goal

One of Windsor-Essex's biggest fundraisers is now underway.

The Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation kicked off its annual Grow On Windsor campaign on Friday.

The goal is to raise $375,000 throughout November, with the proceeds supporting the transformation of the last of three original radiation treatment bunkers at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. It will allow the installation of state-of-the-art technology for more precise, personalized radiation therapy.

"When we come together in support of Grow On Windsor, we’re showing up for our neighbours, friends, and families," said Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation Executive Director Houida Kassem. "For the last 12 years, individuals, teams, and businesses have embraced the campaign with generosity, heart, and a little fun, raising funds for local cancer care. We’re grateful to this community for carrying that spirit forward, helping advance care so patients continue to receive the highest level of care at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre."

The 2026 Grow On Ambassadors are Tyler Beckett of Fortis Group, Albert Dumouchelle of WinCity Pizza Reviews, and radio talk show host Kyle Horner.
