Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a section of Bennie Avenue in Leamington is open after a lengthy investigation on Sunday.
Officers with the Leamington detachment were called shortly before 2:30 p.m. on reports of a dispute between neighbours and suspected bail violations.
When police arrived, one of the people involved barricaded himself inside his home. At that point, the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), K-9 Officer Vinny and his handler, Essex-Windsor EMS, and Leamington Fire Services appeared on scene and closed a portion of Bennie Avenue.
A 45-year-old man was eventually arrested and has been charged with uttering threats to damage property and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
Bennie Avenue was reopened at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The charges have not been proven in court.
