Windsor police have arrested two suspects and are looking for others in connection with a child grooming investigation.
At least two victims came forward through the investigation, but police believe there may be others.
Police report they started the investigation in April after they received information that a girl had been groomed and sexually exploited by an unknown suspect.
Investigators say the victim was contacted through Snapchat by a man who identified himself as Jack. The two developed a relationship and eventually met in person. The man allegedly provided alcohol, food, and marijuana in exchange for sexual acts.
Police arrested Hariom Yadav, 26, at a business in Windsor's west end on April 10. He has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference with a person under the age of 16, forcible confinement, and obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under the age of 18.
After the initial arrest, police identified a second suspect in connection to the victim. This suspect identified himself as "Sam" on Snapchat. A second victim also came forward.
On July 3, Simranjeet Singh, 27, was arrested and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference with a person under the age of 16, obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under the age of 18, procuring a person under the age of 18, invitation to sexual touching, and receiving material benefits.
Investigators are looking for two more suspects for obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under the age of 18.
