Canadian price cut coming for Windsor-built Pacifica

Stellantis Canada is making Windsor's signature product more affordable for Canadians.

The automaker announced on Tuesday that it will cut prices on the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica for Canadian buyers by up to $7,200.

The Pacifica and the Chrysler Grand Caravan are built at the Windsor Assembly Plant, which recently returned to a three-shift operation.

"From road trips to hockey practices, these vehicles have carried families through everyday moments that matter," said Stellantis Canada President and CEO Trevor Longley. "By significantly reducing Pacifica pricing today, we’re making this latest generation of our award-winning, Canadian-assembled minivans more accessible than ever and continuing a legacy Canadians know and trust."

The Grand Caravan's base price is $49,995. The Pacifica Select forward and all-wheel-drive models begin at $52,995 with a $4,200 price cut.

The higher-end Limited and Pinnacle all-wheel-drive models begin at $63,995, with a $7,200 price reduction.

The 2027 Pacifica was shown off for the first time earlier this month at the New York Auto Show. Exterior upgrades include a new front fascia with vertical LED headlamps and an illuminated "piano keys" grille.

The interior includes significant technology upgrades. Standard features will include Stow ‘n Go seating in both the second and third rows, the FamCAM, rear-seat entertainment, towing, and seven- or eight-passenger seating capability.

The 2027 Pacifica is now available to order. However, the vehicle will not hit showrooms until sometime this summer.
