Man charged in 2024 shooting arrested again for breaching bail

A man charged in connection to a 2024 shooting on Erie Street has been arrested again for breaching bail conditions.

The 24-year-old was originally charged for allegedly discharging a firearm at a vehicle in May 2024.

He was arrested while trying to board an international flight at the Toronto Pearson International Airport.

In February 2025, he was granted bail with multiple conditions. He was arrested in October 2025 for breaching those conditions.

In February 2026, the suspect was granted bail a second time with conditions that included GPS monitoring and a requirement to reside with his surety at a LaSalle address.

This week, the Offender Manager Unit did a routine compliance check and determined the suspect broke the terms of his release. He was arrested and charged.

His surety, a 29-year-old, was also arrested and charged with facilitating a breach of a release order.
