The Sarnia Brigade 16U baseball team captured the Great Lakes World Series title this past weekend in Battle Creek, Michigan.
The team brought home the championship banner after a hard fought and grueling competition.
The Brigade fought their way through the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals on Sunday, to a convincing victory at the CO Brown Stadium.
The club went 10-2 through the Michigan portion of its schedule.
The Brigade return home this weekend to host the 2026 PBLO (Premier Baseball League of Ontario) Championship at Errol Russell and Blackwell Park from Friday through Sunday.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Brigade as they host the London Badgers on Friday at 7:30 p.m., at Errol Russell in game one of their quest for the 16U PBLO championship.
