The yellow alert explained that the area could see up to 90-kilometre-an-hour winds, 30 to 50 millimetres of rain, and dime-sized hail due to a line of thunderstorms between Amherstburg and Brigden.
The severe thunderstorm warning was in place for both Sarnia and Windsor, but has since ended.
Police are looking to identify two persons of interest that were seen on an ATV carrying a saw while in the area where the vandalism occurred.
