Sarnia police investigate storage facility break-in

Sarnia police are asking for help in identifying a suspect accused of breaking into five storage units.

Police said the suspect broke into a storage facility on Campbell Street sometime between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on April 10.

"The suspect forcibly broke locks and door latches, causing thousands of dollars in damage," read a media release.

The list and value of the items stolen are unknown at this time. Police said the owners are assessing their respective units.

A short video has been posted to the Sarnia Police Service's YouTube channel in hopes of someone recognizing the suspect.

The individual wore a black hoodie with a white logo on the front and black pants. Police said the suspect kept their hood up and turned their face away from the camera.
