Wellington North opens survey on Recreation Master Plan

The Township of Wellington North has opened up a public survey regarding the Recreation Master Plan.

Residents, community organizations, user groups, businesses and visitors are being asked to give feedback through the survey to help shape the future of local recreation in Wellington North.

The Recreation Master Plan is a document that helps guide the township with respect to the future of recreation programs, parks, facilities, services and community needs. Input from the community will help identify recreation programs and services residents would like to see in the future, opportunities to improve access to recreation and increase participation, potential enhancements to parks, recreation facilities, and public spaces and community priorities for recreation investment and service delivery.

There will also be a pair of drop-in public engagement sessions. The first will be Sunday, November 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Arthur and Area Community Centre. The other will be Saturday, November 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex.

The Recreation Master Plan survey is now open and will remain available until November 22, 2026. Residents can complete the survey online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WNrecMP
