A 51-year-old man faces charges after a police raid at a North Perth home turned up more than $76,000 worth of stolen property.
Perth County OPP, along with officers from Huron County OPP and the Huron-Perth and Wellington Community Street Crime Unit, searched the property on Perth Road 178 west of Palmerston on Tuesday. Three stolen vehicles, along with property linked to a recent break-in, were reportedly found.
A 51-year-old North Perth man was arrested. He is charged with two counts each of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and altering a vehicle identification number, and one count each of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and breaching a court order.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Stratford court in relation to the charges on Wednesday.
