The Town of Hanover says it has mapped out a plan to support the local economy.
The Business Retention and Expansion (BR+E) Action Plan Roadmap was recently completed by town staff, using feedback from last summer's study. The Town heard from 61 local businesses on opportunities, challenges, and priorities for growth.
The roadmap identifies priority areas like workforce attraction and skills development, business support navigation, collaboration and networking opportunities, shared marketing and promotion, and succession planning and business continuity.
The Town says the Action Plan focuses on moving into implementation, with initiatives designed to support existing businesses, encourage investment and enhance Hanover's business environment.
"Businesses told us what matters most to them, and this roadmap demonstrates our commitment to turning that feedback into action," said April Marshall, Economic Development Manager.
