Huron Hospice is getting ready to host its 6th annual No Place Like Home fundraiser.
This year, on September 26 at the Libro Hall in Clinton, the Huron Hospice staff will host the No Place Like Home Farm to Fork dinner and auction. The dinner will be provided by Part II Bistro of Goderich.
The No Place Like Home events are the signature fundraiser for Huron Hospice, which "invites conversations, memories and stories about hospice and end-of-life care," according to a press release from Huron Hospice.
The auction will also include the always popular pie auction and wine raffle. Funds raised each year help pay for the care at Huron Hospice.
According to Huron Hospice, in 2025, Hospice nurses and volunteers provided care for more than 50 people at Bender House. Home hospice and respite volunteers made 567 visits to families in their homes, and 89 people attended grief group sessions.
