A no-swimming advisory has been lifted for Kincardine's Station Beach and Point Clark Beach, after water resampling by Grey Bruce Public Health.
The Health Unit issued the advisory for the pair of beaches on Wednesday after routine testing showed unsafe bacterial levels.
New samples were taken on Thursday, which showed levels have returned to within the guidelines for safe swimming.
"This is great news, especially heading into a long weekend. We’d like to extend our thanks to the residents and visitors who adhered to the swimming advisories," said Senior Public Health Manager Andrew Barton in a release.
"We would like to remind the public that you should always use your best judgment before swimming or allowing children to play in the water as water quality can change from day to day or even hour to hour depending on the weather and other conditions. Even if a beach is not posted as unsafe for swimming, you should assess the water’s condition in real-time and avoid swimming if you can’t see your feet in waist-deep water or 24 to 48 hours after heavy rainfall."
