A single vehicle crash west of Meaford has left several people with serious injuries.
Emergency crews were called to Highway 26 at Grey Road 112 where the vehicle had collided with a hydro pole early Monday morning.
Police did not specify exactly how many people were hurt, only that the injuries were serious with "several" people taken to the hospital.
The intersection remained closed for several hours while hydro crews worked to repair the damaged pole.
Police re-opened the road just after 2:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
