Lambton OPP say a 67-year-old man died Sunday afternoon in a drowning incident at South Beach in Grand Bend.
At around 2:40 p.m., OPP officers and Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were called for a report of an unresponsive individual.
Police said bystanders found a man in the water, brought him to shore, and attempted life saving measures.
EMS transported him to South Huron Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police said updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
