Grey Bruce OPP are looking for help in locating a suspect believed to be involved in a series of break-ins in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
The investigation led to a large police presence in Howdenvale on Tuesday.
According to police, multiple residences in the area had been broken into, and officers established containment with the assistance of the OPP Aviation Unit, Canine Unit, and Emergency Response Team.
During the search, police recovered a pickup truck that had been reported stolen from Wiarton earlier in the day.
Police have shared photos of the suspect, who remains at large.

Police say it was learned after the fact that the suspect stole a green Polaris Ranger 500 side‑by‑side ATV, bearing the Ontario licence plate 84X83.
OPP advises anyone who sees this man to not approach or engage, but instead call 911 immediately.
Grey Bruce OPP is also asking residents and business owners in the area to review any surveillance footage from the afternoon and evening of April 21.
