Grey County has once again proven to be a lucky spot for lottery players.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announced on Wednesday that a $1 million Encore ticket from Tuesday night's Lotto Max draw was sold in Grey County. Anyone who bought a ticket in the area should check their numbers. That can be done either through the OLG app or at any participating retailer.
Other secondary prizes were won in Brampton, Ottawa, Simcoe County, and Windsor.
The massive $75 million jackpot was also won Tuesday, but not in Ontario. The winning ticket was sold in Penticton, British Columbia.
The Lotto Max pot for this Friday's draw is now $18 million.
This is not the first time Grey County has been home to major wins. Last October, a $40 million Lotto Max ticket was sold in the county. This came just over a year after one of two winning tickets for an $80 million Lotto Max jackpot was purchased in Grey County.
