Listowel and the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex will play host to the upcoming U13A Ontario Hockey Federation Championship Tournament.
The U13A Southeast Surge applied back in May and June of 2025 to host the tournament this year. The organization and the town of Listowel were awarded the tournament last fall.
The tournament hosts the league champions of the OMHA, NOHA, GTHL and Alliance to compete for the OHF Championship. The Surge get to compete as a host team.
Games will take place from April 17-19 at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex. Teams attending include the St. Mary's Rock, Sarnia Jr Sting, Leaside Flames, Temiskaming Shores Puck hounds, and the hometown Surge.
Round robin play will take place on the Friday and Saturday with puck drops at 10 a.m., with the semi-finals and final on the Sunday.
