Planning underway for Owen Sound's Hottest Street Sale

As the weather warms up, planning is ramping up for a favourite summer event in Owen Sound.

Vendors and community groups are being invited to take part in the annual Hottest Street Sale, set to return to the River District on Saturday, July 11. Organizers are calling on artisans, businesses, schools, service providers and community organizations to secure their spot ahead of the June 22 deadline.

The popular event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is expected to feature more than 200 vendor spaces, offering a wide variety of shopping, food and entertainment options throughout the downtown core.

Organizers say the family-friendly street sale will once again include live entertainment, with the return of the Summerfolk stage providing music throughout the day. The Owen Sound and District Chamber of Commerce will also host performances on its Community Stage at City Hall.

The Hottest Street Sale is free to attend and continues to be a major draw for both residents and visitors each summer.

Those interested in becoming a vendor or looking for more information are encouraged to visit the River District’s website or contact the coordinator directly.
