The City of Owen Sound is inviting residents to take part in this year’s Sports Hall of Fame celebrations, with tickets now on sale for the 2026 induction ceremony and dinner.
The event is scheduled for Friday, May 8, at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre, where community members will gather to honour this year’s inductees.
Festivities will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m., before the induction ceremony gets underway at 8:30 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, the ceremony will also be broadcast on Rogers local cable television.
Tickets are available for $50 per person and can be purchased at City Hall at the Community Services counter on Tuesday through Thursday afternoons. Payment is accepted by cash or cheque.
Organizers note that ticket quantities are limited, with sales continuing until April 30 or until the event sells out, and they encourage those interested to secure their seats early.
