Over 100 grams of fentanyl have been seized following an arrest warrant.
On Friday, OPP conducted a general patrol around Elm and Second Street in Collingwood. During the patrol, an officer recognized a man wanted for six outstanding charges.
According to police, the wanted man resisted arrest but was taken into custody. During a search of his person, officers found 130 grams of fentanyl as well as a variety of drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, a 49-year-old Collingwood man has been charged with trafficking of a schedule 1 substance and resisting a peace officer.
He was taken to the Collingwood detachment and held for a bail hearing.
