Hanover accepting nominations for Labyrinth of Distinction

The Town of Hanover is now accepting nominations for the Labyrinth of Distinction.

The labyrinth is a permanent commemorative feature located in Hanover’s downtown Heritage Square.

It recognizes "individuals whose exceptional accomplishments, dedication, and contributions have positively influenced the community and/or society at large," according to a Hanover media release.

Nominations are accepted on a biennial basis, and this year nominations are open until February 28 under two categories: Community Builders and Personal Achievements and Accomplishments.

An engraved paver stone is positioned in the plaza area of the Heritage Square Labyrinth in honour of the inductee nominated and approved by Hanover Council.

Nomination forms and detailed criteria are available through the Parks, Recreation and Culture Office, at the Hanover Municipal Office, or online at https://www.hanover.ca/history-heritage.
