Online info sessions set for joint Regional Transit Study

Bruce, Grey, Dufferin and Wellington Counties are reminding residents of upcoming online information sessions on rural transit.

Council members from the four counties and Saugeen Mobility and Regional Transit (SMART) Board will take part in the session, as part of the ongoing Joint Regional Transit Study.

The groups are examining the possibility of a unified regional transit network across all four counties.

The sessions will take place on January 15 at 6 p.m. and January 29 at 1 p.m.

Dillon Consulting will provide an information session, Rural Transit 101, offering insights into the benefits and challenges of operating transit services in large rural areas.

The sessions will be livestreamed and recorded from the County of Grey’s YouTube Channel

Additional information is available on the project webpage at grey.ca/regional-transit.
