Minto to host Volunteer and Cultural Symposium

The Town of Minto will host a Volunteer and Cultural Symposium next month.

According to an informational release from the town, Minto's Cultural Roundtable will host the event on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Harriston-Minto Community Complex Auditorium.

The release shares that the symposium was "created to provide participants the tools and connections needed to assist their organization and make their volunteer work more fulfilling."

This event will bring together volunteers, tourism leaders, community organizations and creative professionals to share ideas, strengthen relationships and explore new opportunities.

The event is open to artists, cultural and heritage groups, museums, service clubs, festival and event volunteers, tourism contributors, agriculture and horticulture groups, sport and recreation organizations, and volunteer organizations.

The cost to attend is $10, which includes lunch, refreshments, and access to toolkits and resource materials. Advance registration is required, and participants are encouraged to register via Eventbrite by January 19, 2026.
