'We were in disbelief': Wingham woman wins $100K

A Wingham retiree is making travel plans after a six-figure lottery win.

Barbara Bragg won $100,000 by matching the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the November 21, 2025 Lotto Max draw.

The 63-year-old is a longtime lottery player, who always pays the extra $1 to add Encore to her tickets.

"For an extra dollar, I figure why not?" Bragg said while recently picking up her winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

As the 63-year-old had purchased the ticket online at OLG.ca, she received email notification of the big win and immediately told her husband.

“We were in disbelief, but very excited at the same time,” Bragg said. “We told the kids the following week by sending them a screenshot of the $100,000 prize. My daughter was overjoyed.”

Bragg plans to use her winnings to visit each coast of Canada to see family.

"We’ll also think of other ways to enjoy this win as it settles in," added Bragg. "I feel amazing and so fortunate to have won a prize like this.”
