An individual is facing charges after an incident in Goderich.
Huron County Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called to a reported dispute just before 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at a residence on Lighthouse Street.
Police allege property was damaged during the incident, and while officers were investigating, a liquid was thrown on one of them.
A 32-year-old from Goderich has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and assaulting a peace officer.
The suspect was arrested, processed at the Huron OPP detachment, and later released from custody, with a court date for February 2, 2026.
