The Canada Post strike could be coming to an end in the very near future.
In a statement, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) said the two sides have reached agreements in principle.
"This means both sides have agreed on the main points of the deals, but we need to agree on the contractual language that will form the collective agreements that would be put to a vote by the members," read the statement.
Until this happens, all strike action will be suspended. CUPW said Canada Post has also agreed to suspend its right to lockout.
If members don't approve the agreements, each suspension will be lifted.
