A fire at a condo building in Lucknow Wednesday morning temporarily displaced 50 residents, but has been "successfully managed" according to fire officials.
Firefighters from the Lucknow and District Fire Department, along with South Bruce OPP, were called to the blaze at one of the units on Montgomery Lane around 8:40 a.m.
Jeff Bradley, Fire Chief for the Township of Huron-Kinloss, confirms that by 1 p.m. the building was safe enough to have residents return.
No one was hurt, but multiple units were affected by the smoke and flames. There is no estimate on damages.
The fire is not considered suspicious, although the cause has not been released and remains under investigation.
