Registration opens for second annual Clean Energy Conference

Registration is now open for the second annual Clean Energy Conference in Tiverton.

A media release from the Nuclear Innovation Institute shares that this year's event will be a 2-day event on Tuesday, October 21 into Wednesday, October 22 in Tiverton at the NII Advance Technology Campus, located in the Bruce Energy Centre, across from the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre.

The conference, sponsored by Bruce Power, will have attendees looking at the them of "Securing the Future" with regards to energy-related initiatives.

The event will feature hands-on workshops, a day 2 keynote address from Bruce Power President and CEO Eric Chassard, different information sessions on things like regional opportunities in medical isotopes, and networking opportunities.

"This conference is a chance to bring people together around the ideas and opportunities that are driving clean energy forward in our region," said Jessica Linthorne, NII President and CEO. "From unique workshops to big-picture conversations about new nuclear, economic development, workforce and innovation, it’s two days purpose-built for the people who are shaping the future of Bruce, Grey and Huron."
