Huron Perth Public Health is warning of another local measles exposure, this time in Seaforth.
According to a media release from HPPH, the exposure occurred in the Seaforth Community Hospital on May 14 between 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the emergency department waiting room.
Anyone who was at this location during this timeframe needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure.
This includes those who were present at the location only briefly as measles is highly contagious and can linger in the air for up to two hours.
