Provincial police say a 12-year-old child who was rushed to hospital after a collision involving a skid steer and a bicycle south of Mount Forest has died.
Emergency crews were called to a farm in the area of Highway 6 and Sideroad 2 around 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10 after a child riding a bike was hit by the machine. The child was airlifted to hospital by Ornge air ambulance with serious injuries.
Police say the child died in hospital on Tuesday, May 13.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
