Saturdays at 7 lineup announced

The next season of Saturdays at 7 concerts celebrates music that defined its generation.

The concert series for 2026-2027 is called ERAS and will once again be held at St. Andrew's United Church in Chatham.

"Music has an incredible ability to bring us back to a particular time or place," said Devon Hansen, Director of Music at St. Andrew's. "With ERAS, we wanted to create an evening that celebrates the songs people grew up with, fell in love with, danced to, sang along with, and continue to enjoy today. There really is something in this concert for every generation."

ERAS is expected to take music lovers on a journey of some of the most memorable songs and artists of the past several decades. This includes the early days of rock and roll with Elvis Presley, the music of The Beatles, the timeless songwriting of Carole King, the powerhouse vocals of Celine Dion, and much more.

Performers have been recruited from across Southwestern Ontario to take part. Some of the talents include, Andrew Derynck, Joshua Campbell, Avery Kosik, Ryan Nauta, and Kassya Kevany.

The first concert of the season will be held on Saturday, September 19.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

No tickets are required, though a donation at the door is appreciated. The proceeds will g back into the music program at St. Andrew's.
