The Township of Wellington North has announced the date for the fourth annual Mayor's Charity Bonspiel.
This year's event will be held Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Mount Forest Curling Club. All proceeds from the event will be donated to local youth initiatives and programs.
The event will see two draws, with teams each playing two six-end games, with a catered lunch prior to the awards. In addition to the curling, participants will have an opportunity to take part in a silent auction and a “Beat the Mayor” contest.
In 2025, the event in Arthur raised $10,245 for the new Mount Forest Outdoor Pool fundraising campaign. If you're interested in supporting the event, you can register a four-person team, donate a silent auction item, or do an event sponsorship.
