Trial dates for a Chatham man accused of killing a Tilbury teen in a head-on crash should be confirmed next month.
Jaise Thomas, 26, was in Chatham court on Monday and was told his trial dates tentatively set for March and April 2027 will be confirmed on June 18.
Thomas is charged with dangerous driving causing death in connection with the deadly crash on Queen’s Line between Wheeler Line and Davidson Road, just outside of Tilbury, on January 20, 2025. The collision claimed the life of 18-year-old Sebastian Belliveau.
A publication ban prevents any evidence from being made public.
