House fire in Blenheim cases $500K in damage

No injuries were reported after a home in Blenheim caught fire.

According to Chatham-Kent Fire and Rescue, the blaze broke out on Talbot Street around 7:30 a.m. on Friday.

The fire was contained to three rooms, but still caused around $500,000 in damage.

Everyone living at the home was able to get outside safely. They've been provided a temporary spot to stay by Victim Services.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
