CK Chamber of Commerce seeking board members

The Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce is looking for people to help guide the future of business in the community.

The chamber is inviting applications and nominations for new volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors.

According to the Chamber of Commerce, experience on a board is not necessary, though it is a plus. The group is looking for individuals who are able to lead ethically and thoughtfully, collaborate with a diverse group of business and community leaders, and act in the best interest of the community.

Serving on the Chamber Board offers the chance to:

• Influence policies and initiatives that shape local business success

• Expand your leadership skills in a governance setting

• Build trusted relationships across industries

• Give back to the community

If you are interested in applying or nominating someone to become a board member, you can do so here.

Applications and nominations will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17.
