The Windsor Spitfires were doubled up on the road against the Saginaw Spirit.
The two teams faced off on Saturday, with Saginaw winning 6-3.
It took Saginaw 73 seconds into the game to score twice, with both goals being scored by Nic Sima.
Carson Woodall got the Spitfires back within one less than two minutes later with his 3rd goal of the season. Beksultan Makysh and Wyatt Kennedy with the assists.
Nikita Klepov would cap the scoring in the first for Saginaw. He would add his second goal of the game halfway through the second period.
Spitfires' Carter Hicks scored his 3rd goal of the season shortly after, with Jack Nesbitt and Ethan Belchetz getting the helpers.
Sima later in the period got his hat-trick, giving Saginaw a three-goal lead heading into the final period.
Jacob Cloutier put the score out of reach for the Spitfires with an empty netter just a few minutes left in the game.
AJ Spellacy got his 2nd goal of the season with under two minutes to play, making the final score 6-3. Kennedy and Ethan Garden had the assists on Spellacy's goal.
The Spitfires outshot Saginaw 43 to 28. Joey Costanzo gave up four goals on 19 shots, while Michael Newlove stopped seven of eight shots.
The loss puts Windsor's record at 12-3-1-1.
The team's next game is scheduled for Sunday against the Flint Firebirds. Puck drop is scheduled for 4:05 p.m.
