OPP investigation fatal crash in Leamington

A 72-year-old woman died after a single-vehicle crash in Leamington Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were called to the crash on County Road 31 between County Road 20 and County Road 34 around 9:30 a.m.

The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene after resuscitation efforts failed.

County Road 31 was closed for the initial investigation but has since been reopened.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has footage from the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact the Essex OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
