The City of Windsor wants to hear from residents on its Walkerville Heritage Conservation District.
City staff will host a public meeting at Willistead Manor on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 7 p.m. This will be the third and final public engagement session on the proposed plan.
With a Heritage Conservation District plan, the municipality can enact guidelines or policies for future developments in the area.
The public meeting will outline the final draft of the plan and provide a property inventory and status of each property within the district.
Those who can't attend can still watch the meeting on the city's YouTube channel, and event materials will be available on the Let's Talk Windsor page online.
Final recommendations will be presented to City Council by the end of this year or the beginning of 2027.
