Rolling lane closures in effect along E.C. Row Expressway

The City of Windsor is warning drivers to watch for lane restrictions along the E.C. Row Expressway starting Saturday.

Crews will be cutting grass along the expressway's centre median between Huron Church Road and Banwell Road. Once that's done, the crews will get to work cutting the grass along the shoulders of the road.

There will be rolling lane closures for approximately three weeks. Work will start at 7 a.m. and wrap up for the day at 4 p.m., but staff will try to minimize traffic disruptions during rush hours.

Drivers are asked to use extra caution and slow down when they see workers on or near the roads.
