Windsor police were first called to the area of Wyandotte Street East and Moy Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor Fire and Rescue and a crew from Enbridge Gas soon followed.
Wyandotte Street East was closed between Gladstone Avenue and Hall Avenue.
The area was reopened soon after 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
