Grab a Teen Burger to help beat MS

On Thursday, August 20, A&W restaurants across the country are hosting their annual Burgers to Beat MS day, donating $2 from every Teen Burger sold directly to MS Canada.

Since its inception in 2008, the popular fundraiser has raised over $23 million to support vital research, treatment, and care for those living with multiple sclerosis.

Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world.

According to Health Canada, roughly 290 out of every 100,000 Canadian adults live with the condition, with women accounting for seven out of ten cases.

"On average, someone in Canada is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) every two hours," read the MS Canada website.

You can can also donate to MS Canada by rounding up your bill at A&W, donating in restaurants, through the A&W App, online at BurgersToBeatMS.ca, or by adding a donation when ordering on UberEats, SkipTheDishes and DoorDash.
