Sarnia police have arrested one person after issuing a shelter-in-place order.
On Saturday at approximately 6:30 p.m., Officers and K-9 responded to a home on Mitton Street, advising the public to avoid the area.
Roughly 20 minutes later, police issued a shelter-in-place for those in the immediate area.
According to investigators, there was a person barricaded inside a home.
Police advise that the incident has been resolved, and the area will reopen shortly.
